Join us for a night of fun, static displays, demonstrations, seminars and festivities at National Night Out. National Night Out, sponsored by the National Association of Town Watches and locally hosted by the Indian River County Sheriff?s Office, will be held at Vero Fashion Outlets on August 4th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Vero Fashion Outlets is located on Route 60 and I-95, Exit 147, West of I-95 in Vero Beach.
The fun-filled night will include: Indian River County Sheriffs Office (IRCSO) static displays (helicopter, boats, etc.) K-9 Unit and SWAT team demonstrations, along with the Indian River Shores Police Department, Red Cross EVR, County Emergency Services (Fire/EMS), the Mobile Blood Bank, Crime Scene Investigation, IRCSO Motorcycle Patrol and more. There will be child fingerprinting and FREE bike helmets for the kids (while supplies last). Enjoy center-wide sidewalk sales, prize drawings every half hour and live radio appearances from WGYL FM, The Breeze. National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support and participation in local anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships and send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
