On March 7, 2012, the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office held its 18th Annual Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches Barbeque. Residents and visitors of Indian River County enjoyed delicious food, entertainment, law enforcement and vendor displays, K-9 demonstrations, SWAT & CERT simulations, and tours of the jail and 911 Center.
The event is made possible through the support of generous citizens, members of our business community and major sponsors such as Publix Super Markets Charities, George E. Warren Corporation, Children’s Cancer Cooperative, Aramark, Dyer Family Foundation, and GTL as well as the hard work of many friends, volunteers and employees of the Sheriff’s Office. This year’s event raised $48,000 for the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches that will directly benefit Indian River County boys and girls!
