Visitation Regulations

The Video Visitation System ( VVS ) is an inmate / visitor friendly instrument that will enable you to visit your family / friends via a video conference system monitor and telephone handset. The following guidelines and times must be adhered to:

1. Each inmate, unless restricted by Classification Status, will be afforded four ( 4 ) visits each in thirty ( 30 ) minute increments, totaling a maximum of two ( 2 ) hours per Inmate per week.

2. Only one ( 1 ) visitor will be allowed to visit during each thirty ( 30 ) minute increment with the exception that only one ( 1 ) minor may accompany any given adult per visit. Visitors will not be permitted to wait inside the visitation center unless assigned and seated at a visitor's booth ( this will hold down the noise and make your visiting experience better ).

3. Visitors must be on your visitation list ( just like they are now ), and you must have been assigned to a permanent housing unit prior to being permitted visitors.

4. Your visitor must call ( 772 ) 978.6334 before 7:30 P.M. the evening prior to your next available visitation day; Visits may not be scheduled more than 72 hours in advance.

5. Inmates will be able to have visits scheduled on the following days and times as indicated below:

The VVS hours will be Monday - Sunday, 10:00 A.M. to 8:30 P.M., breaking for lunch at 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and scheduled break for dinner 3:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M.

  • Inmates last name beginning in A - L: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Inmates last name beginning in M - Z: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

6. Visits may be monitored and or recorded for the safety and security of all parties.

7. Do not abuse or damage the VVS as you may be subject to disciplinary and / or criminal prosecution.

8. Your visit will be terminated by any of the following:

  • Automatically by the VVS or by staff when thirty ( 30 ) minutes has expired.
  • When the handset has been returned to the holder.
  • Every hour and half hour regardless of when your visit started.
  • Violation of visiting rules.

9. Your visit will start when the handset is picked up, however if your visitor arrives late, your visit will be cut short since each visit is scheduled on the hour and half house to start and end.
