Harry Hall, Comptroller
Harry received his Associates of Arts in Business Administration from Palm Beach Community College and the following degrees from Florida Atlantic University: Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and Master of Public Administration.
Harry is a Certified Government Finance Officer, sits on the board of directors of the Treasure Coast Florida Government Finance Officer’s Association, is a standing committee member of the Florida Sheriff’s Association, is a past Treasurer of the Florida School of Finance Officer’s Association, and is an Adjunct Professor at Barry University.
Harry worked eleven years at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in the various positions of Facilities Accountant, Paymaster, and Senior Accountant. He then accepted the position of General Manager for two years of the Roberts Group, a multi-company manufacturer/distributor of beauty products. From there he went to Palm Beach County School District as a Revenue Accountant for four years.
Harry accepted the appointment as Assistant School Superintendent for Business Affairs/Chief Finance Officer of the Hendry County School District for five years. Lastly, he worked a year as the Accounting Manager of the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority in Tampa before coming to the Sheriff’s Office as our Comptroller/CFO ten years ago.
